Terms of Service

These Terms explain the rules for using fan.sg, app.fan.sg, short links, APIs, dashboards, analytics, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms and must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for your credentials, account activity, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. We may require verification, limit registrations, or reject accounts to protect the service.

2. Service Description and Changes

fan.sg provides URL-shortening, redirect, link-management, safety-screening, analytics, and related functionality. Features, limits, availability, pricing, advertising, and technical requirements may change. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You must not use the service to create, distribute, promote, or facilitate:

• Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, infringing, dangerous, or malicious activity.
• Malware, phishing, credential theft, unwanted software, or security circumvention.
• Spam, unsolicited messaging, impersonation, harassment, or abusive content.
• Sexually exploitative content, content involving minors, or other unlawful material.
• Destinations that violate third-party rights, advertising policies, or applicable law.
• Automated abuse, denial-of-service activity, scraping, or attempts to evade service limits.
• Artificial, fraudulent, or incentivized advertising impressions, clicks, or engagement.

You must not misrepresent a short-link destination, interfere with safety checks, evade reserved-path controls, or use the service in a manner that creates risk for users, advertisers, service providers, or fan.sg.

4. Short Links and User Content

You are responsible for destinations, aliases, notes, tags, and other content you submit. You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit and use that content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, scan, display, transmit, and otherwise use submitted content as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service.

We may scan, block, disable, expire, redirect, reserve, modify, or remove links and accounts when we reasonably believe they create safety, legal, operational, policy, or reputational risk. Safety screening reduces risk but does not guarantee that a destination is safe, accurate, available, or lawful.

5. Advertising and Analytics

The service may display advertising, sponsored content, or analytics technology on eligible pages. Advertisements will be presented separately from service controls and publisher content. You must not click your own ads, encourage others to click ads, generate artificial impressions or clicks, use automated traffic, or otherwise interfere with advertising measurement or delivery.

Advertising and analytics providers may process information as described in the Privacy Policy. Third-party advertisements and advertisers are responsible for their own products, claims, destinations, and practices. Google and other advertising providers do not sponsor or endorse fan.sg merely because their services or ads appear here.

6. Intellectual Property

The service, software, branding, design, and original content are owned by fan.sg or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or exploit the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

7. Third-Party Services and Destinations

The service may depend on or link to third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, products, policies, or practices. Accessing a short-link destination is at your own risk.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how information may be collected, used, disclosed, and retained. By using the service, you acknowledge those practices. Where consent is required, you may be presented with privacy choices before certain technologies are used.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may investigate activity and suspend, restrict, or terminate access without prior notice when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements, service limits, policy violations, invalid advertising traffic, or harm to third parties. You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, and uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee any link, destination, analytics result, advertising result, or safety determination.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, fan.sg and its affiliates, operators, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, advertising income, or business opportunity arising from the service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless fan.sg, its affiliates, operators, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, destinations, use of the service, violation of these Terms, or violation of another party's rights.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law, disputes will be submitted to the courts of Singapore.

14. General Terms

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign them without our consent.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
